Escalate the clinical picture — worsening dyspnea, dropping sats, weight up 2–3 lb overnight — with the BNP as supporting data.

What you do
  • Interpret with the exam: crackles, JVD, edema, orthopnea, daily weight
  • Trending down with diuresis = treatment working — chart the pair (weight + BNP)
