Escalate the obstructive picture (jaundice, clay stools, dark urine, RUQ pain), not the isolated enzyme.
What you do
- High ALP + high bilirubin + jaundice = obstructive picture — anticipate imaging
- Isolated high ALP with normal GGT points at bone, not liver
